RE: RV insurance in Ontario?

I would not recommend Wayfarer to anybody, they totally screwed up my policy.

RE: Tobermory and Manitoulin

Personally I think with your kids being 4 and 6 I would stay south at Sauble Beach and stay at Woodland a triple 10 campground.
I have done this same trip and would not stay in Tobermory based on your kids ages and what is there.
Sauble has lots to do and will keep the kids happy which is your number 1 goal

RE: Sauble Beach

Woodland Park is the highest rated campground in Canada, the only triple 10 rated place.
While you are there, go up front and see if there online computer is still working, ( I did some tune ups on it when I was there last)
A nice sidetrip is up the peninsula, how much time do you have?
Just a few miles up in sauble falls you can walk out and see the falls a nice side trip

RE: 97 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L Idle Speed Control System

if memory serves me right when it is extremely cold out you also need to depress the pedal a slight bit while cranking.
i think i had a 94 cherokee same engine.
could not start it one morning up north,
this is what i read in the manual i thinks

RE: Blue Ox lube?

I had one bar replaced under warranty by blue ox, because the disc where it rotated wore they said, i think they replaced their entire lineup.
I did lube mine time to time, and then learned that it was to tight from the factory to begin with and if memory serves me right we backed the main nut off a bit to loosen it up, and then everything was fine.

RE: Burning Rubber smell

Yes as above no need to worry, just imagine all the road debris and if you have a slobber tube like me this also adds to the mist that collects in there.
if you do a lot of dinghy towing give your toads engine bay a nice bath once in awhile

RE: Koni vs Bilstein shocks and more questions

Comparing the FSD to the Bilstein is not a fair comparison, to start with the FSD is and has technology that Bilstein does not.
I cant speak to the stabilizers except what I have which any and every coach should have by law in my opinion as it is a safety feature and a comfort feature also.

Ben with the girls do the family thing, and to make it interesting for them you may want to do the caves just south of the track:)

RE: Non-Alcoholic Campgrounds

On I-77 in the mountains we stayed at a place called the " Church of God.." something like that, it was just afew miles off the Interstate excellent place, super tight getting there thats another story, but no smoking and no drinking allowed.
Great place, I will try to get the exact name for you.

RE: London Ontario Campgrounds

We have stayed at that KOA several times, we where actually there during the blackout a few years back, and where only 1 of 4 rigs in the campground with a generator.
As more and more people where running out of gas and the stations had no power the campground got full that night.
Thats another story, but this KOA is not typical of the chain, it is old and very tired, and could be a goldmine if the right owners came along.
The pool needs major work, not to mention the entire place.
Use this as a last resort, if you want full service then this place is your bet.
If you are just using this place to camp then you will be okay.
Fanshawe is a Gold Mine waiting to happen, I cant understand why they have not put any real thought into this place, there are no full service sites for overnight visitors, which is incredible in todays camping circles.
Its a great area, level sites might be a problem, but its very scenic, if you dont need full service this would be a good option, BUT make sure you go over in detail what rig you have and what you need, get assurances here.
London in itself is very underserviced in relation to campgrounds, taxpayers get involved!!!
